This was the hardest match for me so far. Two bands I really love battling two bands I think are great.

1) Skillet - Ester Drang is great, but Skillet has an extensive list of solid albums, and I know they really love God, which is cool.

2) Danielson Famile - They do crazy, artsy indie music, but they’re up-front about God. I love that. And their music is fun, too, since it’s so weird.

3) Anathallo - Amazing musicians with an incredible live performance.

4) Danielson Famile - Another close one, but I’ll give it to Danielson for effectively crossing into the indie world without hiding their Christianity.

5) Ester Drang - Really, really close, but sometimes Anathallo sounds a little too much like a weird movie soundtrack.

6) Danielson Famile - Very close for me, but Danielson wins in the end.

This is also my toughest match. I like all the bands (used to be more into Skillet than I am now, but I still enjoy their worship music), but Danielson is just plain awesome and so up front about their music. If you haven’t seen their documentary, A Danielson Famile Story, it’s a must. Anathallo is so awesome, but if I hadn’t seen them live, I wouldn’t like them quite as much as I do now. But they’re still pretty cool.
