1) Over the Rhine – I like Sleeping at Last, but they get a little boring and “normal” sounding to me. And Over the Rhine is pretty amazing.
2) John Davis – I love his bluesy, classic rock sound.
3) Switchfoot – This was pretty close, but Switchfoot knows how to do rock, pure and simple. I like Sleeping at Last, but Switchfoot is a really solid band.
4) John Davis – A close one again, but I like the simplicity of John Davis.
5) Switchfoot – Over the Rhine probably deserves the win more, but Switchfoot is my pick for giving a great, fun rock and roll sound.
6) John Davis – Bluesy and raw… I like it.

#4 was a tough choice but in the end I went with Over the Rhine because they have a varied yet consistent catalog spanning a good number of years.
