Thanks, everyone, for voting on Group 1 last week. Doug Burr was the obvious winner far and above all the competion. Way to go Doug!
Now on to Group 2! But first, a recap of the rules, in case you forgot any:
You are allowed only one vote per one-on-one match. No unfairly voting numerous times for the person you want to win.
To vote, leave a comment with who you think should win each of the six face-offs below. Put in a valid e-mail when you leave your comment (or your WordPress ID). I won’t keep your e-mail or anything, but I need to do this in order to keep it a little more kosher.
You have 5 days (120 hours) to vote on the bands. So if I put up a match on Friday at 7 am, then I will count the votes on the following Wednesday at 7 am. You have until that time to send in your vote. All votes after that time will not be counted.
If there are no questions, here are your bands for this group, along with a sample song to help in voting:
Josh Clubb – Even There
Agents of Future – You Can Change My Mind
Robbie Seay Band – Jesus Garden of My Rest
Brooke Waggoner – listen at MySpace (she doesn’t like illegal downloading. Weird…)
And here are the matches to vote on:
1) Josh Clubb vs. Agents of Future
2) Josh Clubb vs. Robbie Seay Band
3) Josh Clubb vs. Brooke Waggoner
4) Agents of Future vs. Robbie Seay Band
5) Agents of Future vs. Brooke Waggoner
6) Robbie Seay Band vs. Brooke Waggoner
Please vote on the artist and not necessarily on the sample song. The song is there to help you with unfamiliar artists but not to make or break them, in case you love the band but hate the song I put up.
For those who haven’t voted yet, your votes can look something like this:
1) Josh Clubb
2) Josh Clubb
3) Brooke Waggoner
4) Robbie Seay Band
5) Agents of Future
6) Robbie Seay Band
Feel free to leave your comments and reasons for choosing, or shutting down, people.
All votes must be in by 7:30 am CST Monday, December 24.

1) Agents of Future (Man, this is a close one. Josh Clubb may be my favorite person in the world, but I really like the wild craziness of Agents of Future worship)
2) Josh Clubb (I’m pretty addicted to Robbie Seay Band, but Josh Clubb sent me threatening e-mails, so how could I vote him down twice in a row?)
3) Josh Clubb (I really like Brooke Waggoner’s music, but I gotta go with my heart)
4) Agents of Future (Robbie Seay Band is great, but Agents of Future are crazy)
5) Agents of Future (I gotta pick wild, crazy worship over incredibly awesome none-worship stuff)
6) Brooke Waggoner (Listen to “So So” on her MySpace and you will be amazed. Her voice, the music… I love it all)

I really like Brooke’s music, especially that piano! Great suggestion whoever nominated her. She’s one of my new favorites! I really like what Agents of Future are doing, and I think I’d like them better if I saw them live, but since I haven’t, I can’t vote on them like my husband Jake did.

Haven’t seen Agents of Future yet, but I do have their three discs which have become new favorites. Also, I’m fairly new to Waggoner’s music, but I really dig what I’ve heard so far. Looking forward to hearing more from her.

Gosh! I’ve been spoiled by the Agents of Future! Growing up listening to punkish stuff then getting blasted by God, i was saddened to hear what mainstream worship music was. Then I met Agents of Future in 2001. They kick ass and present listeners with a “not so shiny happy life is perfect la la la but we can make it through this” kinda sound. Their passion for worship is raucous and infectious!!!
Robbie Seay Band’s 10,000 Charms was awesome. i listened to it over and over. but haven’t really gotten into their latest stuff. maybe too radio k-love friendly for me.

1) Agents of Future (They’ve got such a cool passionate, raw sound that can’t be beat when it comes to worship.)
2) Robbie Seay Band (I’m not a huge fan, but I like their originality; though Josh Clubb is a really great artist in his own right.)
3) Josh Clubb (I get bored with Brooke… 😦 And Josh’s heart totally comes through in his music.)
4) Agents of Future (They’ve got passion that, imo, beats out any musical talent that Robbie Seay can dish out.)
5) Agents of Future (Not even a contest… I like passion right now much more than easy listening.)
6) Brooke Waggoner (This was a really tough one, but Brooke does have a great voice, and her music makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside…)
